About The Event

The Youth Baker Contestant entry fee is $15.00 per pie. Youth Bakers may enter up to two pies. If you would like to enter a second pie, you will need to complete a form for each pie entry. 

As a Youth Baker Contestant, you will receive two complimentary festival tickets. For each pie you enter, Youth Baker Contestants are responsible for bringing:

• One whole finished pie for judging

• One whole finished pie for public display and charity auction

• Must provide recipe for pie for possible inclusion in future pie cookbook

This is a one-day festival on Saturday, April April 27, 2024, held at the Town Center in the City of Cherokee Village. The festival begins at 10:00 am and ends at 3:00 pm. Youth Baker Contestants must have your pies delivered to the festival site and the pie check in table no later than 9:30 am Saturday morning. Pies may be dropped off at the Innovation Hub on Friday, April 26 from 10 am to 5 pm or Saturday morning between 8:00 and 9:30 am.

If you are plugging the location into GPS use 10 Santee drive (FNBC Bank) and that will bring you to the front of the Town Center where you will see the Post Office and the Innovation Hub/Pie check-in. 

You will receive an email confirming your acceptance into the competition and providing you additional information about the event location, festival schedule, judging criteria, etc. Please direct any festival-related questions you may have to
